Founded in 2014, MAJOR began as a small group of friends showcasing their Call of Duty highlights. Over the years, we’ve grown into one of Norway’s most recognized esports brands, with a strong focus on Rocket League and a dedication to cultivating the next generation of competitive talent.
At MAJOR, gaming is at the heart of everything we do. From developing rising stars to pushing boundaries on the field, we strive to lead the charge in performance and innovation. Beyond the game, our brand represents a bold vision for esports culture, blending quality apparel with the energy and passion that define our community.
Driven by excellence and fueled by ambition, MAJOR is more than an organization—it’s a movement. Together, we’re shaping the future of gaming in Norway and beyond.

After the success of the Call of Duty trickshotting and sniping clan and brand, SpaceBoundUniverse (SB), Sway, Chills, Fault, M00SE, and Motive decided to create a sub-team. Among them, Urban Chapters was announced around the same time as Major Militia, with new recruits Twiztty and Zr0 joining as co-leaders and co-founders from the very beginning.
After Sway and Chills left, Major Militia became independent under the leadership of Motive, Fault, and later Zr0. Twiztty and M00SE soon departed due to internal disagreements, while SB continued recruiting talent. Zr0 eventually forced Motive and Fault out, rebranded the team into a "cinema" channel, and sold it to a random content creator, erasing Major Militia’s original legacy.
Fault and M00SE regained control of the Major Militia YouTube channel, rebranding it as an esports organization focused on competitive Call of Duty. Twiztty returned as a co-owner and co-founder, and Major Militia shifted direction to invest in the growing Rainbow Six Siege esports scene. However, after failing to achieve success, the organization eventually went inactive.
Established on the 27th of July, TR E-Sport entered the scene with some highly skilled individuals who would later become an integral part of MAJOR's history. These key figures played a crucial role in shaping the organization's direction.
Twiztty, now known by his in-game name Soul, or Aleksander Joon "Soul" Meløysund, decided to start an esports organization once again. However, it was Isac "Fault" Viken who convinced Aleksander to breathe new life into Major Militia, urging him to restart the legendary brand. With a renewed vision, Major Militia Esports Club was officially established, marking the beginning of a new era for the organization, ready to compete and rise to the top once more.
Major Militia Esports Club revealed their new League of Legends team, debuting in Norway’s Telenorligaen in February 2019, marking a key step in their rebuild. As an underdog, they secured a third-place finish at The Gathering 2019, Norway’s largest LAN event, solidifying their potential and determination in the competitive League of Legends scene.
After a somewhat successful run in League of Legends at the top level, Major Militia announced their first Rocket League team to compete in the Telialigaen.
Major Militia formed their first all-female League of Legends team to compete in the French Women's League. This marked a significant step in the organization's commitment to diversity and inclusion within the esports community.
After six months of collaboration and strategic planning, Major Militia, TR E-sport, and Major MGMT AS (the management company for Rignes-Ronny) united to form a new chapter in esports by establishing the esports organization MAJOR. This merger marked a significant evolution for the Major brand, which had roots in the gaming scene through Major Militia’s legacy.
We separated from Major MGMT AS and founded our own company, Major Esports AS. Investing from our own pockets, we made a bold commitment to the Norwegian Rocket League scene, assembling a team of super talents. This move marked a significant step in Major Esports AS’s journey, as we aimed to elevate the organization’s presence and compete at the highest level within the Norwegian esports community.
Our ambitious effort in fall 2021 didn’t go as planned, leading to a rebuilding phase focused on growth. We promoted our academy team to the main roster and continued developing new talent. Since then, we’ve cultivated several Norwegian champions and elite players, cementing our role in fostering top esports talent.
Today, we continue forward, now more as a hobby, with a strategy focused on sustainability rather than just incurring costs. We hope our supporters will continue to follow us, and we warmly welcome new ones to join us on our journey..
